2020 has been a year. Not only were we dealing with a pandemic, husband’s business being essentially closed, I was also diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I had been told the year before that it was just dense tissue from breastfeeding, but we found ourselves dealing with cancer at 35yrs old. As a mother of two young boys, it was hard to understand how this could happen to us. Emotionally, financially, physically it has been a tough year. A friend mentioned The Pink Fund to me, so I immediately applied. It’s hard to put into words the impact having a little financial relief brings to you. It is truly life changing, we can focus on treatment and healing without having the cloud of financial doom over us. We will be forever grateful to The Pink Fund!
